Ligiades

Ligiades is a village located on the southern slope of Mount Mitsikeli, near Ioannina. Having a beautiful view towards the city, Lake Pamvotida with its islet and the opposite peaks of Mount Tomaros. Ligiades consists of traditional stone-built houses, which preserve the traditional architecture of the area.
The area also offers many activities to its visitors. You can enjoy relaxing walks in the picturesque alleys, try delicious local dishes in traditional taverns and cafes, and explore the beautiful nature through hiking or boat trips on the lake. Zagorochoria

Zagori is an area in the Pindos mountain range, in Epirus, in northwestern Greece. In the area there are 46 settlements, the so-called Zagorochoria, which are scattered on the foothills and slopes of Pindos. It has an area of about 1,000 square kilometers and the shape of an inverted equilateral triangle. The southern tip of the triangle touches the capital of the prefecture, Ioannina, the southwestern side is formed by Mount Mitsikeli (1,810 m), the Aoos River and Mount Tymfi form the northern side and the southeastern side follows the Varda River to Mavrovouni (2,100 m) near Metsovo.
